Huthwaite Online WW2 Remembrance

Bombardier 843744 Edward Slack was born Q3 1915 in Sutton-in-Ashfield. Parents 1903 Q1 marriage between Lancashire coal miner Mr Samuel Slack and younger Miss Susan Renshaw from Clay Cross headed 1911 household in Crown Street, Sutton, aged 32 and 26. Elder father extends family becoming a 1939 Grocer in Brierley Cottages, where Mrs Susan Slack mothered younger known names from Mary 1904, Maud 1906, Ellen 1907, Samuel 1908, Eveline 1909, Edward 1915, Albert 1919, Ronald 1921, Charles 1923, Godfrey 1925.

Mr Edward Slack married Miss Mary Alice Johnson Q3 1940, and appears registering wife Mrs Mary Alice Slack of Huthwaite.
