Driver T/167220 Thomas Clifford Marsden was just simply recognised being a Son of Felicia Marsden of Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Mr Thomas Clifford Marsden may claim 26th January 1917 Huthwaite birth, relating Miss Felicia Ellen Evans who lost two WW1 brothers from their Grocer family in Market Street. Tracing her 1916 Q4 Belper registered marriage with a Mr Thomas Marsden jumped to his death 14th June 1933, leaving £246 to a widowed Mrs Felicia Marsden at Greenwood Falls, Huthwaite.

Sutton 1939 census is the only listing given widow Felicia Marsden presumably still mothering Shoe Repairer Clifford Marsden before call for WW2 recruits. Posting with the Royal Army Service Corps into Egypt ultimately commemorates where Driver T/167220 T C Marsden was killed in active service 19th March 1942, aged 24. - Mother remarried John W Wilbraham Q3 1945.
