Huthwaite Online WW2 Remembrance

Private 4987196 Donald Hague was born Q1 1923 in Huthwaite. Parents 1902 Q1 marriage between coal miner Mr Ben Thomas Hague from Ripley and Hucknall-under-Huthwaite native Miss Elizabeth Alice Smith, provided a Barker Street family home. Ben headed that 1911 household aged 29, with Mrs Elizabeth E Hague 29, regularly mothering first four children. Moving into newer built 18 Bonser Crescent introduced 1939 given names, more fully spanning Samuel 1903, Francis 1905, Wilfred 1908, Alec 1910, Sarah 1915, Doris 1918, Irene 1920, Donald (record closed) and finally Frederick 1925.

CWCG basically identified Pte Donald Hague serving 5th Notts & Derbys Sherwood Foresters when killed in action 17th March 1943, aged 20.
