Parents 1910 marriage between Collier Butty Stallman Mr Norman Charles Henry Evans and Miss Mary Shaw from Sutton-in-Ashfield finds newly wedded 1911 couple housed in the former Huthwaite addressed Carnarvon Grove. Sutton town boundary changes likely determines this birthplace for Norman, plus any other unknown siblings similarly eluding census years. Parents held a Sutton Road, Huthwaite address in 1939, only able to update fathers occupation Public Works Contractor's General Labourer aged 56, with Mrs Mary Evans 53.
