Actor Gavin Abbott was born in Huthwaite on 28th December 1968, a son of Roger and Bett Abbott. His recent homeward return as a single man claimed work stress as main reason for ending an acting career.

Gavin Abbott is credited in theatre performances, a 3 year tour from 2000 with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
