The 2010 sale of the Huthwaite White Hart pub began a lengthy 2011 transformation, turning 1 Main Street address into flats above a new Premier Convenience Store, initially identifying Nazran shop.
After blocking off Blackwell Road entry to externally accommodated smokers, noticing removal of the pubs hanging sign probably recognises final 2008 pub closure. The premises stood idle a few years through 2010 sale, that next sought planning permission for the proposed alterations. December 2010 found the property being totally stripped out, judged by a discarded pile in rear yard.
Structural conversion became apparent from February 2011, mainly aimed at significantly extending the rear layout.
Adding rear third storey flats throughout May outlined full scale of this conversion. There then appeared to be some delay before the exposed open plan ground floor shop area eventually gained a November frontage to complete the outer shell.
Internal fixtures and fittings presumably continued keeping workers busy into the new year, although it was the end of March 2012 when the Premier chain finally opened their named Nazran Stores.
