A well roofed, cleaner clad Workpeoples Inn managed to serve Huthwaite locals into this 21st century. The Workies had struggled through that difficult period of dwindling custom which had been forcing widespread pub closures. After repeated efforts to stay open by appointing enthusiastic landlords and landlady's, the brewery owners invested in making this modernised 2003 makeover.
