Thanks to another named Mr Brian Hayes, also raised in Huthwaite before collecting these images from his Kirkby home to scan for future display. Brian keenly took up photography at school to reveal his grandparents cottage, remembered being long stood upon Commnon Road. Mr Hayes then started miner training at New Hucknall Colliery, and his employment there until 1970 dates long interests when he shot these magnificent old pit yard plus railroad scenes. But to fully show off all Brian's linked gallery interests warrants three individual preview albums.
