Tony provided link to his flickr album, which may reveal an artistic eye aiming the camera lens.   The offer was however, for sharing these photos among New Hucknall Colliery yard.   A cosy looking workshop could conjure memories for past workers, and even householders, when most coaled a real open fire before areas went smokeless.

Discovering a sign planted since WWII still gave air raid instructions. Warning public to beware of trains near the Common Road rail crossing did not, however, deter pranksters from dangerously releasing coal wagons.   A magnificent shot of the signal box aside hand operated wooden gates before that all got wrecked by those runaway trucks.
