Mr Everley offered a very nice family album, which for Addy holds fond memories when recalling these featured Bromley relatives.

The Bromley home shop front held 18 Main Street addressing until early 1960s closure. It was formerly kept by Mrs O'Brian, also shown fronting a small adjacent retirement cottage. That was converted into a 1950s rear garage for 12 Main Street Newsagents. Mr J Bromley with horse called Captain touted streets selling green groceries, delivering coal plus chimney sweeping service.

Joyce Ward 9yrs and Eric Thorpe 5yrs are among Whit walkers, while school groups may well reveal other named relations found in featured class pages concerning John Davies New Street Schools.
