Private 267273 Harry Holmes was born Q2 1896 in Hucknall Huthwaite. Parents Q4 1888 marriage between Mr Edwin Holmes from Nottingham and Miss Emily Clarke from Westwood began a family in Selson. Their 1895 relocation to Hucknall-under-Huthwaite can only list 1901 Sutton Road household headed by a self employed Mr Edwin Holmes 33. Mrs Emily Holmes 33, is mother to George Frederick 12, Charles Edward 10, Annie 6, Harold 5, Galdys E and Edith 1. General servant was Lilley Wright 17 from Stonebroom.
